Privacy Policy

This policy covers every application of the BestPaid family distributed through the Microsoft Store, the Apple App Store and Google Play, published by Vasilii Polovnikov — the publisher name shown on those store listings. BestPaid is the trading brand of that same developer, so this is the developer's own policy for every one of those products. If an app's store listing links to this page, this is the authoritative privacy policy for that app. Contact: [email protected].

1. The short version

We collect as little as we can to make the product work and bill you. We do not sell your data. We do not show third-party ads inside paid subscriptions. We do not use your data to train AI models.

2. What we collect

• Account data (email, optional name) — only when you create an account or subscribe.
• Subscription / billing data (the minimal data passed by your payment processor: country, currency, last-4 of card) — handled by our Merchant of Record (Polar.sh). We never see your full card.
• Usage data — anonymous counts of which features you use, error logs (no payload bodies). Used to fix bugs and prioritize features.
• Device data — for iOS apps: device model, iOS version, app version, locale. Used for crash diagnostics and compatibility.
• What we DO NOT collect: your contact lists, photos, location, microphone, camera, or any payload you paste into our tools (JSON, regex, colors, etc. all stay on your device unless you explicitly save them to your account).

3. Why we collect it

• To deliver the service you paid for (account, sync, support).
• To process payment (your country determines applicable VAT/sales tax; the Merchant of Record handles this).
• To diagnose issues (error logs).
• To meet legal obligations (invoices, tax records).

4. Where data lives

Servers in the EU (Germany, Cyprus). No transfers to jurisdictions without adequacy or SCC coverage. Static assets via Cloudflare's global CDN.

5. Third parties we use

• Polar.sh (Merchant of Record) — payment processing.
• NOWPayments (optional) — crypto checkout if you choose it.
• Cloudflare — CDN, DNS, DDoS protection.
• Apple App Store Connect — for iOS apps: purchase verification, subscription management.
• Each has its own privacy policy and is GDPR/CCPA compliant.

5a. Android apps and Google Play

Apps we publish on Google Play are built to work on your device. They do not contain advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs or crash-reporting SDKs, and they request no runtime permissions unless a feature you start needs one.

• What stays on the device. Everything you enter or generate in the app — entries, logs, settings, saved results — is written to the app's private storage on your device and is not transmitted to us.
• Purchases. Paid features are sold through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment and shares with us only the purchase token and subscription state needed to unlock the feature; we never receive your card details. Google's handling is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
• No advertising identifiers. We do not collect or use the Android Advertising ID, and we do not share any data with advertising networks.
• Uninstalling the app removes its private storage, and with it every piece of data the app kept on the device.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR / CCPA / similar laws you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Export it in a portable format.
• Correct it.
• Delete it (we may keep invoice records the law requires us to keep — usually 7 years).
• Object to processing.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these, email support@bestpaid.app. We respond within 30 days.

6a. Data retention and deletion

We keep each kind of data only as long as the purpose it was collected for requires, and no longer:

• On-device app data — kept until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app. We hold no copy.
• Account data (email, optional name) — kept while the account exists; deleted within 30 days of an account-deletion request.
• Subscription and purchase records — kept while the subscription is active and for 7 years afterwards, because tax and accounting law requires invoice records to be retained.
• Error and diagnostic logs — automatically deleted after 90 days.
• Support correspondence — kept for 24 months, then deleted.
• Face data — retention period is zero; nothing is written to disk or uploaded (see section 2a).

How to delete your data. Uninstalling an app removes all data that app stored on your device. To delete account data held by us, email support@bestpaid.app from the address of the account: we confirm and complete deletion within 30 days, keeping only the invoice records the law obliges us to keep. Purchase records held by Apple or Google are governed by their own retention policies.

7. Children

Services are not directed to anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have, email us and we'll delete it.

8. Cookies & tracking

Our websites use one essential cookie (session). No analytics cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party scripts that profile you. iOS apps use Apple's standard frameworks — no third-party SDKs that track across apps.

9. Subscription auto-renew

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. For iOS apps, manage subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. For web subscriptions, manage in your account page.

10. Changes

If we materially change this policy, we'll email subscribers and post a notice on the home page at least 30 days before it takes effect.

This policy is the privacy policy of Vasilii Polovnikov, the sole developer and publisher of the applications listed below on Google Play, the Apple App Store and the Microsoft Store. The developer name shown on every one of those store listings is the same legal person named here, and each app below is covered by this document.
